Hi! I'm Dan, and I can't wait to support you on your running journey.

My running life officially began back in 2001 as a high school cross country athlete. After falling in love with the sport, I took a "pause" in college to play D3 baseball (not exactly a haven for distance runners, but it was fun!). After college, I rediscovered my passion for running and ran my first marathon in 2011. It was a surreal and emotional experience crossing the finish line, and I knew at that moment that running would be a lifetime pursuit for me. 

 

After progressively improving year by year, I achieved a lifetime goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon in 2016...but then disaster struck. During the Winter train up, I jumped into intense training too quickly and developed hip and foot bone stress reactions that forced me to drop out of the race.

​​Over the next 6 years, I set off on an exodus of sorts, rebuilding my strength base and fitness, becoming a physical therapist in 2021, and FINALLY making it to the start line of Boston in one piece in 2022! I want to take everything I've learned in my clinical experience and 20+ year running career to help make your running dreams a reality, whether that means crushing a PR or just returning to a jog after injury.
